Welcome, Dear Friend!
Welcome to the MSE homepage! MSE stands for Misja Serca i Ewangelii which is translated as Heart and Gospel Mission.
You are cordially invited to join our mission which goal is to organize help for the Africa's regions with the biggest needs. At the moment we're focusing our efforts on Burkina Faso - one of the poorest countries in the world, situated in nort-west Africa, south from Sahara. Burkina Faso is mostly a desert land and does not have it's own natural resources. It's people suffer most from lack of water. It's water resources beeing little, means for developing farming, stock-breeding or even basic hygiene are limited. Wide-spread hunger and diseases (like malaria, meningitis, hepatitis) cause high death rate and are the reason for which so many orphans are left to their own devices (median age is under 17).
The mission's goals are to make people aware of the extent of Africa's problems, to gather financial resources (ensuring education and livelihood for the orphans, creating new workplaces for the people of Burkina Faso, etc.) and to undertake missionary work in Africa. Besides the material help we wish to bring the light of gospel to the Africans - to give them a chance for a new life in Jesus Christ.
You can help too by donating any amount of money to the mission's account, by buying postcards, decorated boxes, jewelry and other handicraft products made by our volunteers. Yout can also donate your own handicraft for our auctions or the Africa's missionary stand. Your time, your ideas and skills would also be a very valuable gift - join us and become a volunteer of the Heart and Gospel Mission.
Invitation:
If you have a talent for handicrafts/arts and you don't really know how to use it to serve the Lord - join the Heart and Gospel Mission, which actions serve the poorest in Africa (kids as well as adults). Meet us, bring whatever you made with your own hands and donate it to the mission. All income from selling these things will be entirely allocated to the people of Burkina Faso.
